The Foundation received a $20,000 grant from Wakefern ShopRite LPGA for the brain training program for people with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) or Parkinson’s disease (PD). These classes help prevent and/or improve cognitive dysfunction and provide opportunities for social interaction with others who are living with similar challenges. Through virtual, interactive classes, participants will learn compensatory strategies and techniques in areas including name and word recall, improving focus and attention, improving organization skills, improving processing speed, simple strategies to improve reading speed and reading comprehension, and extending independence and cognitive reserve.

Last month, All American Subaru of Old Bridge donated 80 blankets and 30 patient care kits through their ‘Subaru Loves to Care’ partnership with The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society NJ Chapter. We appreciate their on-going support and generosity!
