Our 5th Annual Holiday Gala was held on December 5, 2009, at the Windsor Ballroom, Holiday Inn, East Windsor.  The event honored Robert McGirr,  owner of Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, Freehold Twp. and Chairman of the CentraState Foundation Board of Trustees.  Mr. McGirr was honored not only for his work with CentraState, but the many other charities and organizations he supports throughout the community.

Despite the snow, the event was attended by over 170 guests who dined, danced and participated in a large silent auction.  The very talented Ken Zaback and his band provided outstanding music and entertainment for the listening and dancing pleasure of all.

The evening raised a total of $53,311.00 for the Radition Oncology Department at CentraState Medical Center.  Dr. Soffen, Chairman of Radiation/Oncology was there to congratulate Mr. McGirr and thank the Auxiliaries for a wonderful event.
