This committee remains focused on the geographic healthcare needs specific to Freehold Borough.
A county-wide health assessment conducted by Monmouth County and local health agencies indicates that the Borough is one of a number of municipalities in most need of healthcare-related services. The Committee is developing recommendations to address these concerns.
Freehold Family Project – The Committee, partnering with local social service and healthcare agencies are collaborating on this project to promote healthy families.

- The initial goal is to develop and distribute a directory of healthcare services available to Borough residents
- An office will be established at the YMCA satellite facility on Center Street, staffed by a bi-lingual advocate and a social services intern to assist Borough residents in securing healthcare services.
