Auxiliaries
The CentraState Associated Auxiliaries make a difference in our community by fundraising for and volunteering at the Medical Center. The Associated Auxiliaries are comprised of five community groups: Covered Bridge, Freehold Borough & Township, Manalapan/ Englishtown/Marlboro, Millstone Township, and The Villages. In addition, the auxilians manage the Hospital Thrift Shop, located in Freehold Borough.
These dedicated members of our community work tirelessly throughout the year sponsoring bus trips, dinner dances, teas, card parties and a variety of sales on the Medical Center campus. In 2010, their combined efforts raised more than $85,000 which was designated for CentraState's Radiation Oncology Services, Inpatient Oncology, Pediatric Rehabilitation, Emergency Department, and The Family Medicine Residency Program. They also contributied to The Health Awareness Center's Bike Bot, used for educational programs in area schools.
This year the Associated Auxiliaries pledged $150,000 to the Cancer Campaign which is focussed on the creation of a regional, destination cancer center. Linking cancer care with survivor care. The Auxiliaries have raised more than $3.0 million for CentraState, making many building and service enhancement projects possible. Their work is truly amazing and much appreciated.
