Volunteer Opportunities

CentraState Healthcare Foundation has a variety of meaningful volunteer roles for anyone who desires an active involvement in their regional medical center.  For more information on any of the volunteer opportunities below please call the Foundation Office at 732-294-7030 or email foundation@centrastate.com

Band Aid Open Golf Committee
The Band Aid Open Golf Outing began in 1976 with 70 golfers and raised $3,400. The committee has a great time planning one of the largest charity golf outings in the state, raising over $200,000 annually.

Paulette’s C of Hope Committee
The Paulette’s C of Hope committee is actively seeking new members. The event benefits cancer services and programs at CentraState. Whether your experience or passion is in fitness events, family events, supporting the cancer community or you’re just looking to get involved, please let us know. The event raises over $50,000 annually and is a great way to have fun and give back!

MS Benefit Committee
The MS Benefit began in 2003 as a Halloween party. In 2005, the event evolved into a wine tasting attracting over 400 attendees and raising over $300,000. The event is held on the hospital campus with an array of gourmet food and high quality wines.

The Linda E. Cardinale MS Center has moved into a new 4,400-square-foot office on the third floor of CentraState’s Star and Barry Tobias Ambulatory Campus, and in 2021 it expanded to double the number of infusion chairs. To learn more about the MS programs and services please click here.

Celebration Ball Committee
This event is rich in history and began in 1962 when it became apparent to a group of Freehold residents that a hospital was needed in western Monmouth County. The Celebration Ball continues today, rich in tradition and heritage thanks to those who had the vision and dedication many years ago. Join the Ball Committee and help plan and organize CentraState’s largest event attracting nearly 400 revelers and raising $400,000.

The Ball co-chairs and committee are leaders in business who stay focused on the task, yet this is the most social of all the event committees. Do you have that uncanny ability to solicit in-kind donations, sell raffle tickets or sponsorships? Do you love to dance? Have an affinity to CentraState Medical Center and would like to help in some way? This committee may be just the perfect fit.

Support Services
Volunteers are always needed to help with administrative tasks such as general office support, solicitation mailings, copywriting, marketing, and pre-event support.

Auxiliaries
CentraState Associated Auxiliaries is comprised of local auxiliary groups that conduct fundraising events that benefit the programs and services at CentraState. Events are held year round and vary from food/wine tasting events and galas to flower and candy sales. Men and women of all ages are encouraged to join.
